Scribner also serves as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for the Professional Women’s Chamber in Springfield. She serves as President of the Board of Directors of River East School-to-Career, an organization whose mission is to promote career education and which brings together schools, businesses, and organizations to create career exploration opportunities for students. The East Springfield, MA native holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, with a concentration in Leadership, from the University of Massachusetts, and is active in a number of community organizations. Scribner is a recipient of the “Women to Watch” award from the magazine Western Mass Women. During her banking career she rose from the position of Teller to Branch Manager, and ultimately Director of Marketing. While there, she handled the overall advertising and marketing responsibilities for the Bank, which included building an internal advertising agency, handling media inquiries, public relations, and vendor management. Scribner comes to Florence Bank with a strong banking resume, most recently serving as Vice President and Director of Marketing at Hampden Bank, where she was employed for nearly 25 years. In this role, she will develop, implement and oversee the Bank’s overall marketing and strategic plan.
